🌿 Tree Pet Adoption Kids Workshop 🌿 Beverly Newton

Adopt a tree and bring home a baby seedling with its birth certificate! In this hands‑on Tree Pet Adoption Kids Workshop, children ages 12 and under get to adopt their very own “tree pet”! Young nature lovers will choose a baby seedling, learn how to care for it, and transplant it into a roomy 2‑gallon container—the perfect first home for their growing tree.

  • Timing is crucial when cutting flowers because it affects their hydration and overall health... Flowers cut at the right time, typically early in the morning or late in the afternoon, are more hydrated and less stressed

Culver City Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1953 (FEIN ID # 95-6122857). Our founders shared a common interest in gardening and nature. They included GIs, returning from World War II, who settled in Southern California with their families. Gardening events, including the club’s annual Garden Show and Plant Sale, Garden Hop, field trips, garden visits, and other gardening-related activities, are held throughout the year. Enjoy expert talks, interactive demos, and hands-on workshops at our admission-free monthly meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
